After travelling and speaking with people in different parts of the country I have become painfully aware of my "Wisconsin" dialect. After hours of recording tutorial videos and listening to my own voice I have been reminded of certain Wisconsin dialects that I cannot shake.
No matter how hard I try... It seems that instead of GOING TO and WANT TO it always comes out GONNA and WANNA. Even after detailed concentration accompanied with reminder signs, I always slip back to wanna, and gonna.
While I promise I will not use Bubbler, Pop, and Brandy in my tutorials, I wanna keep saying gonna. While it might be strange to you... It is like asking a Texan to say inSURance instead of INsurance. :)
