I had a chance to use DBS for our age rated agency renewal.  How did I used to do this with Spreadsheets?  We were able to design a triple option with a carrier change and HRA design that had to be fit over the new carrier plans.  While working up the communication materials we came up with a way to create plan summaries to be used as election forms.

In direct compare... run the age rated enrollee report for all plans in the plan group. These were then handed out to participants and they turned in the summary for the plan they elected.

This allowed them to see how the HRA benefit integrated with the underlying insurance plan.
